LyonMag reports that the 2026 Beaujolais Nouveaux arrive on Thursday 19 November, with hundreds of events announced in France and abroad. About 700 wine shops are expected to join the Rendez-vous Beaujolais chez les cavistes operation, with tastings and activities.
Highlighted events include the Sarmentelles de Beaujeu, the Fête des Saveurs in Gléizé, the Fête du Beaujolais Gourmand in Tarare and the Marathon international du Beaujolais. In 2025 about 13.8 million bottles of Nouveau were sold, roughly 9 million in France and 4.9 million exported to more than 100 countries.
