About
The Louvre presents Zurbarán with the National Gallery in London and the Art Institute of Chicago. The museum describes it as a selection of the finest paintings rather than an exhaustive survey, arranged in seven parts that follow his career chronologically and by theme.
It gives weight to the monumental paintings made for Andalusian monasteries, plus portraits and still lifes, and a place for the short career of his son Juan de Zurbarán. A single ticket also covers the Sculpting Colour exhibition in the same space.
